Bank Jabar Banten posted Rp 793.81 billion in net profit to September of this year, a 35.31 percent increase compared to the Rp 586.63 billion it earned in same period last year.
The jump in profi t was partly the result of an increase in the bank’s net interest income (NII), which rose to Rp 1.92 trillion, 27.24 percent higher than last year’s Rp 1.51 trillion, Jabar said in a statement published Monday.
Gross non-performing loans (NPL) increased to 2.01 percent from 1.2 percent last year. Up to the period ending on Sept. 30, Jabar Banten’s assets were worth Rp 41.39 trillion. — JP
