Leaders urged to introspect after a series of disasters

Muhammadiyah chairman Dien Syamsuddin called on Wednesday national leaders to introspect after a series of disasters hit the country.

"We are all sad after disasters like earthquake, flood, tsunami strike us," he said as quoted by kompas.com. "I call on all elements in the country, particularly those who lead the nation, to instrospect."

He also said leaders must not embrace polytheism and immorality, and not violate religious values.
