Former justice and human rights minister Yusril Ihza Mahendra skipped the Attorney General’s Office’s summons on Wednesday for questioning in connection with an online graft case, citing illness.
Maqdir Ismail, one of Yusril lawyers, said that they would request a postponement for the questioning until next week. Maqdir, however, did not say what illness Yusril was suffering from.
Yusril has been named a suspect in an alleged corruption case involving an online registration service, run by a private company, at the Justice and Human Rights Ministry.
He has attended a number of questioning in the case previously.
