BOGOR: The Bogor administration is reviewing plans to relocate Baranangsiang bus terminal, South Bogor, to Tanah Baru in North Bogor, to reduce traffic congestion at the current location.
A press release from the administration issued Wednesday said the plan had been discussed in a meeting with Bogor Deputy Mayor Achmad Ruyat.
The meeting agreed the relocation effort would begin next year, and would require a total investment of Rp 230 billion (US$25.76 million), Kompas.com reported.
The funds for the project will be allocated in steps, starting with Rp 100 billion to buy land for the new location. Construction would cost about Rp 150 billion.
The administration set a target of completing the relocation by 2014. — JP
