96 tsunami victims still missing

As many as 96 people are still missing following a tsunami that hit Mentawai islands last week, says a government official.

“Our search and rescue (SAR) team has yet to find them,”West Sumatra disaster management division head Ade Edwar said Monday as quoted by kompas.com.

The tsunami has claimed 449 lives and displaced another 15,000 people.
