The Bandung branch of state-owned railway operator PT Kereta
Api Indonesia (KAI) has allocated a free train service to deliver aid to Mount
Merapi victims and refugees in Yogyakarta.
Organizations hoping to utilize the service should submit a
written application to KAI, KAI spokesman Bambang S Prayitno said.
“We will be accepting letters from Monday to Friday,” Bambang
said Monday as quoted by kompas.com.
The aid will be delivered every Sunday, he said.
