Yudhoyono salutes Star-Spangled Banner

The military greeted Obama's arrival by
playing both countries' national anthems, with the Star-Spangled
Banner played first. President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono saluted
during both national anthems although Obama did not.
US President Barack Obama and First
Lady Michelle Obama were greeted by foreign dignitaries to Indonesia
as well as almost every Cabinet member including Coordinating
Economic Minister Hatta Rajasa and Communications and Information
Technology Minister Tifatul Sembiring.
He and Michelle Obama continued on to
sign the State Palace's guest book. Obama then proceeded to the
bilateral meeting.
