President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is scheduled to hold a limited Cabinet
meeting today, although it is not clear yet what it will focus on.
His spokesman, Julian Aldrin Pasha, said Monday the President would summon
Tuesday the National Police chief Gen. Timur Pradopo and acting Attorney General
Darmono to inquire about graft suspect Gayus Tambunan's "vacation" in Bali
while the latter was supposed to be in a detention center in Depok, West Java.
Meanwhile, on his third day in Japan, Vice President
Boediono is scheduled to visit the Disaster Reduction Institution in Kobe where
he is expected to learn more about disaster mitigation.
His official site, www.wapresri.go.id, says he left Tokyo for Kobe at 7:30 a.m.
local time Tuesday (5:30 a.m. in Jakarta).
Boediono will be in Japan for four days to boost economic ties between
Indonesia and Japan. He is scheduled to return to Indonesia on Wednesday.
