Cyclists to get more lanes

DENPASAR: The city’s cyclists have good reason to rejoice this week after the Denpasar administration announced the addition of bicycle lanes on several roads around Renon and the tourist resort of Sanur. The length of the combined additional lanes is 25 kilometers.

“With the additional lanes, the city now has 55 kilometers of bicycle lanes. There is growing enthusiasm among city residents to use bicycles and this latest addition is our effort to cater to their needs for a safe and convenient ride,” Denpasar Transportation Agency head Gede Astika said. — JP
