Borneo jumps 11% on IDX debut

Shares in
mining firm Borneo Lumbung Energi and Metal (BORN) jumped 11 percent on the
company’s debut on the nation's stock exchange on Friday.
The shares traded
at Rp 1,300 apiece at the market opening at 9:30 a.m., compared to the initial
public offering (IPO) price of Rp 1,170 each.
Borneo shares
hit a high of Rp 1,400 apiece after the debut., a 130-point jump, or nearly 20
percent compared to the initial price.
Borneo offered its initial shares on Nov. 18-22,
raising Rp 5.71 trillion, the second biggest IPO in the country this year after
Indofood CBP's Rp 6.29 trillion IPO. (est)
