Quake hits Maluku

An earthquake measuring 5.4 on the
Richter scale hit Saumlaki, Maluku at 2.45 a.m. on Monday.
The Meteorology, Climatology and
Geophysics Agency (BKMG) said that the epicenter was 165 kilometers northwest
of Saumlaki at a depth of 35 kilometers.
The temblor did not trigger a tsunami.
