The Jakarta Police have confiscated some 10,000 ecstasy pills in Mercure
Hotel, Ancol, North Jakarta.
“We still chase the ecstasy owner who is a Singaporean,” Jakarta Police narcotics
chief Sr. Comr. Anjan P Putra said Monday, adding the police had also detained a suspect, who is
allegedly a courier.
The ecstasy pills owner has smuggled the pills to the hotel and put it on
the safety box of room number 633, he said.
“To get into the room, the courier must get a key in a rest room at Mangga
Dua Square shopping mall,” Anjan said as quoted by kompas.com news portal.
