Time to become ASEAN champions: RI soccer fans

Supporters have expressed high hopes that
Indonesia will win the 2010 ASEAN Football Federation Cup following impressive
wins in the group stage.
“I hope Indonesia will win the AFF Cup and I hope
to see a new era of Indonesian soccer,” Nurdin, a resident of Bojong in Bogor,
said as quoted by Liputan6.com on Wednesday.
Indonesia beat Thailand 2-1 in their Group A
match, having thrashed Malaysia 5-1 and Laos 6-0.
Nurdin said Indonesia needed to win the AFF Cup
to ensure other countries did not underestimate them.
Seperately, in Ciomas district, Bogor resident
Dedi Wahyudi said coach Alfred Riedl must get two more fantastic performances
out of the team in the semifinals and final to win the cup.
