Rohman, a suspected funder of terrorism activities headed by terror suspect Dulmatin, was sentenced Monday to nine years in prison, lower than the persecutors’ demand of 12 years.

Rohman was proven guilty of giving Rp 20 million (US$1,850) and $100 to Dulmatin to conduct terrorism-related activities, judge Mutarto said as reported by Tempointeraktif.com.

Dulmatin allegedly played a key role in running a militant camp in Aceh. He has also been implicated as having played a role in the 2002 Bali bombings, which claimed 202 lives.

Dulmatin was shot dead by the police in Pemalang, Central Java, in March.

Rohman said he would not appeal the verdict.
Rohman is thought to have raised the money he gave to Dulmatin through preaching in Bandung between 2009 and 2010.
