Organizers raise ticket prices for AFF Cup finals

Soccer fans will have to delve deeper into their pockets to watch of the AFF Suzuki Cup 2010 as its organizers have raised tickets price for the final leg when Indonesia hosts Malaysia on Dec. 29.

Indonesian Football Association chairman Nurdin Halid said the increase in ticket prices was “natural.”

“This is the final showdown. People should not complain about more expensive tickets since it is natural that tickets for finals are costlier than those for the qualifying and semifinal legs,” Nurdin was quoted as saying by tribunnews.com.

He said the organizers would sell tickets from Dec. 23 to Dec. 27.

They will open five ticket booths in the vicinity of the Bung Karno soccer stadium.
