RI President tells minister to file protest after KL final laser beam incidents

President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono has instructed Youth and Sports Affairs Minister Andi Mallarangeng to file a protest to the Asean Football Federation (AFF) following the use of laser beams by Malaysian supporters to distract the visibility of Indonesian players in the AFF Cup finals first leg. 

However, the President called on Indonesian supporters not to use laser beam when Indonesia becomes the host of the second leg on Wednesday.

"Let's be a country that upholds a fair play," he said.
