Indonesia's national soccer team scored 2-1 against Malaysia Wednesday in the second leg of the Asian Football Federation Cup, but the goals weren't enough to give the team the champion title due to the loss in the first leg.
Malaysia's Mohd Safee delivered the first goal on the second half of the game. He also scored two goals in the match's first leg in Malaysia's Bukit Jalil Stadium last Sunday, in a game that ended in 3-0 for the home country.
However, Indonesia retaliated when Muhammad Nasuha kicked the first goal in the 73rd minute, followed by a goal delivered by Muhammad Ridwan 12 minutes later.
In Twitter's topic "Proud of Indonesia", several users expressed their appreciation for the team despite its failure to be the Cup's champion.
