Letter: ANZ Bank’s credit card service

I am truly disappointed with ANZ Bank’s credit card services. I have
been a customer of ANZ Bank for a few years and its service, sad to say,
has been very unsatisfactory.
I made a phone call to the customer service call center on Dec. 27
around 1 p.m. as there was a refund of transaction on my credit card and
the amount was lower than what was charged to my credit card.
I was overseas and both transactions incurred were in overseas currency
and transacted on the same day.
The refund was done on the same day too.
I could not get a request done by the customer service officer so I
asked to speak to the manager in charge. However, the manager said that
he could not come to the phone and refused to let his customer service
officer reveal his name.
This is the most outrageous customer service experience I have had from a
credit card call center. I am saddened that this has come from an
international bank that had a reputable reputation overseas.
