Letter: Well done, finally

The supporters had proved to show that Indonesia is an excellent country with its good people.
Both the teams played well — fans got their money worth of excitement until the final whistle.
Congratulations to the Malaysian team, the coach and those supporting their policy of using born citizens.
It is about time that some of our fellow countries must learn that born citizen and borrowed citizens cannot be the same for sports. Borrowed citizens are mostly employees who had come to earn a living.
Every minute is important to prevent injuries which will jeopardize their future.
A born citizen is like a warrior who goes to uphold the name of his country and bring glory for his fellow citizens. Born citizens bring joy to their village, province and the country. He knows that placing the emblem of his country’s flag near to his heart means a lot for him.
Singing the national anthem brings out goose pimples. Losing a game brings out tears in a born citizen. We can hardly expect this from borrowed citizens.
It is about time for all soccer administrators to understand and build citizens who are ready to die for their country.
We have seen some countries importing table tennis players from China and giving them local citizenship. But when comes to the final against China, it would be difficult for them to win against their fellow Chinese citizens. Feelings for a country cannot be erased with citizenship alone.
