Road users in the east of Jakarta will see more traffic around the Pulogebang area within the next two months, with the Jakarta Public Works Agency set to tender the construction of the Pulogebang flyover project.

An official at the agency, Novizal, said the bidding process would begin within the next two months.

The flyover will be 300 meters long and it is expected to be complete by next year.

The agency also plans to build new tollgates near the area connecting Cakung in East Jakarta and Cikunir in Bekasi, West Java, as well as the new inter-city Pulogebang bus terminal.

“The flyover and the new tollgate are intended to allow the inter-city buses to move directly to and from the new terminal,” Novizal said Wednesday as quoted by tempointeraktif.com.
