SBY, Boediono to attend presidential detail anniversary celebrations

President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and Vice President Boediono are scheduled to attend the 65th anniversary celebrations for the presidential detail (Paspampres) on Friday morning.

The ceremony will be held at the presidential detail housing complex in Bojong Nangka, Bogor, starting from 10 a.m., kompas.com reported Friday.

The venue is not far from Yudhoyono’s private residence in Cikeas, however Boediono will still need to travel from his official residence on Jl. Diponegoro in Central Jakarta.

Both Yudhoyono and Boediono are expected to spend the day in the vicinity, and are scheduled to attend a Friday prayer service and lunch there.

They will also officiate a newly constructed house built for a presidential detail officer.

Meanwhile, First Lady Ani Yudhoyono and the wife of the Vice President, Herawati Boediono, will officiate an educational center for children at the complex.
