A government survey found that a large majority of Indonesian children think negatively, and can be categorized as having unhealthy thought patterns.
“As much as 80 percent of 3,000 respondents demonstrated a negative manner of thought, also known as a ‘mental block’. This is a form of brain development failure stemming from childhood,” Health Ministry nurturing and development of child intelligence department head Gunawan Bam said.
The findings were based on a survey of primary to senior high-school children conducted by the Health Intelligence Center to determine the brain development of Indonesian children.
Parent’s negative behavior inflicted “brain poisoning” in children, which becomes the root cause of negative thoughts, he said.
“Non-conducive conditions, such as an ill-tempered parent, can directly influence the health conditions of a child’s brain,” he said, as quoted by kompas.com. However, the problem can be corrected through sensomotoric improvements that could improve the health and development of a child’s brain, he added.

The state should keep up the two child policy. Too many low-income people have children without ensuring they have a future. In the West, parents save before they have children. Here, girls with nothing are pregnant at 14.

This news is no surprise because most Indonesians, especially those who are less educated are negative-minded.
The only way to improve the situation; make sure all Indonesians over 18 years old are brainwashed. Brainwash them to have a positive mind-set in all areas starting with discipline and so on.

The government should forbid all those poor families from having three or more children.
They only have the children because they think that they won’t have to work later.
They have no money to send them to school or they want them to start work when they are 14 (so they can stop working) and you have a new generation of uneducated people with no future!
It’s normal to think negatively if you know you have no future, education, you are poor and your parents only want to take all your money and they will do the same.
Have many children and let them work for you! It is time for parents to take care of their children, not use them. How can you have children if you have no money to send them to school?

The conclusions from the government’s survey blame the child’s parents and suggest that the negativity can be corrected sensomotorically. It seems a bit inconclusive.
