Letter: Don’t add ads in paid TV
I would like to congratulate TelkomVision for their new interpretation
of paid TV. Users usually pay for television so they can watch programs
without pesky advertisements. But TelkomVision has corrected this.
TelkomVision now adds advertisements to their programs. Now for example
when we are watching say the Dakar Rally report we will never know the
car results because thanks to the thoughtful TelkomVision management
these results will now be replaced by advertisements.
Real paid TV is just that and is advert free... as opposed to free over
the air TV which needs advertising to fund itself. Fix it and while we
are at it the cable service to Bali is appalling.
