The French Cultural Center will from Jan. 26 through Feb. 6 host an architecture exhibition titled
“Architectures de l’enchantement” that will feature photographs and critical essays, a display of 40 architectural masterpieces and anonymous constructions. The architectural works were first exhibited in 2007 during the “Lisbon Architecture Triennale”. It will also be an opportunity to promote an artistic exchange between Indonesia and France through the exhibition of models produced by Indonesian architecture students. The exhibit will take place in different parts of the city, creating a real architectural journey in the discovery of innovative buildings.

Inspired by a range of ecological problems today, greenartspace is hosting an exhibition titled “Life is Amazing”, which will run until Feb. 20. Curated by I Wayan Seriyoga Parta, the exhibition presents works from seven artists — Harry Cahaya, Endro, Made Galung Wiratmaja, Pasek Kusuma, Y. Indra Wahyu, Putut Wahyu Widodo and Widhi Kertya Semadi. The exhibition encourages the participating artists to revisit values on the relationship between humans and nature — values that may have been forgotten by many, while in fact such values can be found in the country’s rich traditional wisdom. The works on display represent the artists’ interpretations and their responses to the meaning of life through their artistic sensibility. Further information available at www.green-artspace.com.
