The government has secured Rp 5.2 trillion (approximately US$577 million) in funds from sales of three series of its SUN bonds.
The amount was retrieved from total offerings of Rp 17.65 trillion made by bidders for four series of SUN bonds offered by the Finance Ministry bid, the ministry said in a press statement on Tuesday.
The government earned Rp 850 billion from the selling of the re-opened FR0053 series from total bids of Rp 3.66 trillion; Rp 100 billion from the re-opened FR0056 series from total bids of Rp 5.66 trillion; and Rp 4.25 trillion from the re-opened FR0054 series from total bids of Rp 8 trillion.
A total of Rp 305 billion in bids were made for the newly-issued SPN20120126 series, but the ministry decided against selling them.
The FR0053 series bonds were sold with an annual yield of 8.99 percent and are due in 2021; the FR0056 series 9.798 percent, due in 2026; and the FR0054 series 10.17 percent, due in 2031.
