University investigates crop circle rumor

Yogyakarta's
Gadjah Mada University (UGM) is currently investigating a rumor that a
group of its students created the crop circles that recently appeared in
Sleman, Yogyakarta.
A
rumor has been circulating on websites, twitter and mailing lists that
several UGM students were claiming to be the crop-circle makers.
“The
head of the mathematics program has phoned the 2008 student coordinator
to check the truth of the rumor,” UGM mathematics student Arief Wahyu
Kurniawan said Tuesday as quoted by tribunnews.com.
