Official skips work for a month

PURBALINGGA, Central Java: Supriyanto, head of Purbalingga’s development and public service affairs agency, is reported to have disappeared for a month along with his family.

He has been away from office for a month and it is reported that no one knows his whereabouts. “We have received no filing of reports either from relatives or anyone who might have fall victim to fraud,” Purbalingga Police chief Adj. Snr. Comr. Roy Siahaan said.

A source at a government office said that Supriyanto had fled with money he had collected from people that he had said would promise them civil employment. — JP
