Cabinet reshuffle may be on the cards: Democratic Party official

Democratic Party deputy secretary-general Saan Mustopa says he “smelled” the President was moving toward reshuffling Cabinet, although Yudhoyono has not officially announced such a plan.
“There have been no direct signs yet, but I’ve smelled the moves,” Saan told tribunnews.com on Thursday.
A reshuffle was likely, since President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono’s Democratic Party, the current leader of the government party coalition, was disappointed with two of its coalition partners, the Golkar Party and the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS), he said.
“As supporting parties, they should move with us in harmony. We respect the Golkar Party and the PKS if there are differences between us, but we’re disappointed nevertheless.”
Saan said the Democratic Party’s disappointment was prompted by, among other things, the House of Representatives’ tax corruption committee proposal for a special inquiry on tax corruption in Indonesia.
Both the committee and the proposal had received strong backing from Golkar and PKS.
