Vice President Boediono will update the President on progress on the myriad cases revolving around former low-level tax official and graft convict Gayus H. Tambunan, according to a minister.

Coordinating Political, Legal and Security Affairs Minister Djoko Suyanto said on Thursday that Boediono’s plan to update President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono last week was delayed by Yudhoyono's official trips to India and Switzerland.

Djoko said that all law enforcement agencies would report on their handling of the Gayus scandal. “For instance, each [institution] will report anything their staff has previously done that might be considered as violating regulations,” he said, as quoted by tempointeraktif.com news portal.

Djoko said that those who were managing the case met at Boediono's house on Thursday.

Deputy Attorney General Darmono said each institution reported their progress and that no new suspects were named at the meeting.

According to tempointeraktif.com, cars believed to be transporting Djoko and National Police chief Gen. Timur Pradopo exited the Vice President's house at 5:40 p.m.

Members of the Judicial Mafia Taskforce and Financial Transaction Analysis and Report Centre (PPATK) were also seen exiting.

Yudhoyono issued 12 instructions last month to improve the handling of Gayus' case, which has implicated a multitude of law enforcement officials and placed Boediono in charge of monitoring progress.
