A worker strains soybean extract, a basic ingredient in tofu, at a tofu and tempeh production center in Ubung, Bali, on Friday. Tofu and tempeh manufacturers in the area have reduced the size of their products to compensate for the rising price of soybeans, which has increased from Rp 4,000 (45 US cents) per kilogram to Rp 6,500 per kilogram in Bali.
