Azerbaijan offers scholarships to RI diplomats

Azerbaijan, a oil-rich country in South Caucasus, is offering scholarships to Indonesian diplomats and students to study in Baku, the country’s capital.
“The Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy is offering scholarships to Indonesian students and diplomats for master and bachelor programs for 2011-2013 period,” the Azerbaijan Embassy in Jakarta said in a press release sent to The Jakarta Post.
The deadline for applications is April 1, 2011, and all the details are available on www.ada.edu.az.
Azerbaijan, then it was part of the then Soviet Union, previously gave scores of scholarships to Indonesian students during the 1960s to study at its prestigious Azerbaijan Oil Academy. — JP
