Letter: FPI’s threat

The threat of FPI (The Jakarta Post, Feb. 12) is disgusting and their violent crimes against non-Muslims are alienating them from the majority of Muslim Indonesians. They are also openly threatening to take SBY down.

First of all: FPI is not a political party. FPI is not supported by the majority of Muslims in this country FPI openly threatens SBY. They are challenging the President and therefore, FPI should be disbanded before it is too late.

I blame SBY for giving FPI total freedom to do as they like, for many years, without prosecution for past acts of murder and mayhem and crimes against humanity.

It is time to disband this group of outlaws, arrest the instigators of violence and put them all behind bars.
