Your comments about the idea to apply counterflow lanes for busways to discourage other motorists from entering the restricted lanes:
I absolutely agree with the plan to apply counterflow lanes for the busway.
Whoever enters the restricted lane will be committing suicide.

“No entry” signs did not work; security guards did not work; and remote controlled entry gates did not work, so why should we believe that counter-flow lanes will work?
They will soon also be used by ambulances, then by military cars and then by Kopaja buses followed by private cars.
Conversion will cost a lot of money and most likely result in more accidents.
What’s needed is a driver education and discipline campaign with subsequent follow up and heavy penalties if ignored.

So now the Jakarta traffic police want to make the busway “counter-flow” because they are totally incompetent in keeping any sort of traffic discipline in the city.
This will involve buses approaching traffic circles from the “wrong side”, and crossing road junctions and traffic lights on the wrong side of the road.
Pedestrians having to cross counter-flow traffic on the same side of the highway, and now we are told guards will be at every busway lane entrance to prevent unauthorized vehicles going on the busway and causing “head on collisions”!
If unauthorized vehicles going on the busway is the cause of all this, why don’t they just put the guards on the present busway lane entrances and install some discipline and leave the rest of it well alone?
Or is this a too simplistic a solution?

The Jakarta administration has all the means such as experts to contemplate the prospect of using counterflow lanes for busways for the sake of all Jakartans.

Applying counterflow lanes for the present busway are an irresponsible act.
To improve the Jakarta traffic, even just a little bit, the TransJakarta busway authority should inform the traffic police whenever a busway lane is available for the general traffic: especially when it is left vacant for sometime when the corresponding busway service is not available.
