The Judicial Commission has found indications that 86 judges had violated their code of conduct, an official says.

Commission spokesman Asep Rahmat Fajar said on Tuesday that the commission was studying 260 reports it received in 2010 and has found indications of violations in 86 reports.

“We will follow up the reports by conducting investigations, including verifying the information coming from those who filed them,” he told The Jakarta Post.

The commission would determine whether or not violations took place.

Asep also said that the commission found no indication of violations in 139 submitted reports. The remaining 35 reports are to be studied until the end of this month.
