National flag carrier Garuda Indonesia announced Tuesday the move of its operational base from Terminal One to Terminal Three at Singapore’s Changi International Airport. The firm said the move is intended to improve services.
Garuda senior general manager for Asia Risnandi said Changi’s Terminal Three was the world's best airport terminal equipped with “state-of-the-art” facilities that fit Garuda’s future expansion plans.
“With this move, we hope our customers can enjoy improved standards of facilities and services we provide them,” Risnandi said in Singapore, as quoted by kompas.com.
He said this was Garuda’s first move inside the Changi complex since the airport was opened 30 years ago.
