PT Trimegah Securities has granted financial assistance to 56 needy students from elementary to senior high schools in Pati, Central Java, as part of its corporate social responsibility program.

Trimegah director Ubaidillah Nugraha said during a visit to Pati over the weekend that the scholarships would cover student needs like transportation costs, development and tuition fees, books and uniforms for eight to nine months.

“We hope this assistance will inspire other firms to pay attention to students that need financial support,” he said.

The 56 students were selected based on their performance in school and the income levels of their parents by alumni of the Singapore International Foundation fellowship program.
