Fajar to replace Nanan as National Police general supervision chief

The National Police announced on Wednesday it had appointed Comr. Gen. Fajar Prihantono to fill the position of National Police general supervision chief left by Comr. Gen. Nanan Soekarna following the latter's appointment as National Police deputy chief.

National Police deputy spokesman Sr. Comr. Boy Rafli Amar confirmed Fajar's appointment.

“Yes, this information is correct.” Boy said as quoted by tempointeraktif.com on Wednesday.

Fajar’s post will be filled by Comr. Gen. Imam Sudjarwo, who heads the police education and training institution. Insp. North Sumatra Police chief Gen. Oegroseno will be promoted to replace Imam to head the institution. Oegroseno will be replaced by former police chief staffer Insp. Gen. Wisnu Amat Sastro.

Meanwhile, East Kalimantan Police chief Insp. Gen. Mathius Salempang will be transferred to a deputy chief detective post, replacing Insp. Gen. Didik Mulyana. Insp. Gen. Bambang Widaryatmo will fill the post left by Mathius.
