Three family members die in fire

Two adults and a girl from the same family were killed in a house fire in Tangerang, Banten, on Wednesday morning.
Herman (43), his wife Wiwik (42) and their niece Nike Ardianti (13), died when the blaze struck their tenement in Dadap village, Teluk Naga, at 3 a.m., Kompas.com reported.
“Their remains will be cremated,” said Dedi Setiawan, a relative of Herman.
Teluk Naga Police chief Adj. Comr. Amar said the tenement was a part of a bigger house where four families lived.
The fire had broken out in tenements numbers two and three, he said. The families in the two other tenements were unscathed.
Amar said investigators were trying to establish what had caused the blaze.
