SBY summons Youth and Sports Minister

Youth and Sports Minister Andi Mallarangeng arrived at Cipanas Palace in Cinajur, West Java, on Sunday to answer what he said was a presidential summon.

Andi’s appearance was unexpected given that President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono was attending a reunion with his classmates from the Armed Forces Academy this weekend and the absence of Cabinet business on Yudhoyono’s agenda.

Andi said that he had been summoned on Saturday by Yudhoyono.

"The meeting is at 2 p.m..." he said, as quoted by tribunnews.com.

Andi has been in the spotlight lately due to comments he made about the Indonesian Soccer Association’s upcoming chairman’s election.
