The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) questioned the finance manager of PT Indosiar Visual Mandiri on Monday as a witness in a graft case related to the procurement of fillers for public service commercials for the Jakarta administration.
Eddy Gunawan Santoso said before entering the KPK office in Jakarta that he would be questioned in the case of former actor Herman Felani, who has been named a suspect.
He said Indosiar broadcasted Herman’s ads in 2006, but he refused to mention the value.
The Corruption Court had sentenced the former head of the Jakarta administration’s legal bureau, Journal Effendi Siahaan, to eight years in prison for his role in the case.
It was revealed that Journal received Rp 569 million (US$64,866) from Herman so that his company would win the bid to make the fillers.
