Foreign Minister Marty Natalegawa says Indonesians living in Japan have not been affected by the low level of radiation permeating from Fukushima prefecture.
"Everyone there is still safe," he said on Wednesday.
A nuclear leakage from Tokyo Electric Company's nuclear plant occurred after a 9.0-magnitude earthquake and subsequent tsunami struck the country.
Marty added that 196 Indonesians were evacuated from Japan post disaster.
"There have been four or five batches [of Indonesian evacuees]," he said.
