Susno will not be imprisoned immediately: Prosecutor

Convicted former police chief detective Comr. Gen. Susno Duadji will not be imprisoned immediately following his sentencing, South Jakarta Prosecutor's Office chief M. Yusuf says.

Judges at the South Jakarta District Court convicted Susno to three years and six months' imprisonment on Thursday evening.

"The verdict has no fixed legal strength yet," he said on Thursday.

Susno has announced that he intends to appeal the verdict.
