The police named a doctor as a suspect in the traffic accident that killed the assistant of former National Police chief detective Comr. Gen. Susno Duadji.

The doctor, identified as C, did not intentionally hit Susno’s assistant, Chief Brig. Doni Rahmanto, as he rode on a motorcycle from Cawang to Tanjung Priok on March 9, according to the police.

Doni died after C eventually took him to Indonesian Christian University (UKI) Hospital in Cawang.

East Jakarta Traffic Police chief Comr. Sudarsono said officers did not arrest C as the doctor had been very cooperative.

“We require him to report frequently to us,” Sudarsono said as quoted by kompas.com.
