Text your say: Soccer dispute

A- A A+

Your comments on the suspension of the executive board of the Indonesian Soccer Association (PSSI) by the government following the volatile dispute in the recent congress of the association:

I am wondering, what did you expect, Mr. Nurdin?

All that has happened is the result of your acts, and time will tell exactly what sin you have committed.

Mr. Nurdin and friends, accept it. The more you argue the worse
you get.

The solution to the PSSI debacle will be quite simple if FIFA endorses the decisions made at the congress held in Pekanbaru by 78 legitimate PSSI members.

If FIFA decides otherwise, the PSSI saga will drag on for a long time without any solution in sight.

The fact that Nurdin/Nugraha have tried to retain their positions after such a long period in power indicates that they are trying to prevent some internal matters from being divulged to the public.

Anyway, since football is such a popular sport in our country, we need all efforts to improve its quality, especially the moral, ethical and technical aspects of the game.

Hopefully all political parties will not destroy the PSSI with their own agenda.

Mr. Nurdin, please step down and let Indonesian football become more advanced with a new leadership of the PSSI.

The government money goes to the PSSI. Therefore, it would be justified to ask that the entire organization is audited/investigated by the KPK. Step up, and give them a chance.
