Two airplanes were grounded by Soekarno
Hatta International Airport authorities after they bumped into each
other in a parking area for planes on Sunday morning.
The planes belonged to Wings Air, a
Lion Air subsidiary, and KAL Star.
“They have been grounded for further
investigation,” a corporate secretary for airport operator Angkasa
Pura II said in a statement.
He said there were no casualties. “The
two planes were not carrying passengers when the incident took
place.”
However, the navigation instruments on
the planes were severely damaged.
