Chris John and Daud Yordan fight it out in title bout

Chris “The Dragon” John and Daud
“The Stone” Yordan are battling it out for the WBA super world
featherweight champion at the Jakarta International Expo in
Kemayoran, Central Jakarta.
This is first time two Indonesians
are fighting for the WBA super world featherweight championship on
home soil.
Daud Yordan is ranked 6th by the WBA. He grabbed
attention last December by knocking out Argentine Damian David
Marchiano in the first 19 seconds of the first round of their
fight.
Chris John has held the WBA super world featherweight
title since 2003. He has a record of 43 wins and 2 draws, his last
fight being a victory over Argentine Fernando David Saucedo by
unanimous decision in December.
Sunday’s undercard fight was
a celebrity boxing match between Raffi Ahmad and Mario Lawalata. The
fight ended in a draw.
