Indonesia-Malaysia Student Forum Set up

Indonesian and Malaysian student organization leaders have agreed to
set up an Indonesian-Malaysian student association to strengthen
cooperation and mutual understanding in promoting bilateral relations
between the two countries.
"The forum will focus on increasing
cooperation in education, economy, culture, sports and tourism," said
Mohammad Ikram Bin Darus, representative of the Malaysian students
council said at the Indonesian embassy in Kuala Lumpur Monday as quoted by antara news agency.
He
said the forum will hold a conference early in July this year to
promote what the forum will carry out in the coming years. In the
meantime, education attache at the Indonesian embassy in Kuala Lumpur
Rusdi MA gave his full support to the Indonesian student forum as a
formal communication means of the student organizations of the two
countries.
