Cirebon bombing suspect to be buried at Pondok Rangon cemetery

M Syarif, the suicide bombing suspect who allegedly attacked the Cirebon police mosque in West Java, will be buried at the Pondok Rangon public cemetery in East Jakarta on Friday.

Some relatives, including attorney Asludin Hazani and Syarif’s mother, Sri Mulat, were seen at Asy-Syifa mosque at Soekanto Police hospital in East Jakarta, tribunnews.com reported on Friday.

Initially, Syarif's family planned to bury him in a local cemetery in Cirebon, but the plan drew protests from local residents who condemned his alleged act, saying he had tarnished the image of the region.
