Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) spokesman Johan Budi says the Attorney General’s Office (AGO) has nominated four of its senior staff members to run for the vacant position of KPK prosecutions director.
Two of the nominees had experience working with the KPK as prosecutors, Johan said.
“The last two names submitted to us were Wisnu Baroto and Warih Sardono, who used to work with us as prosecutors,” Johan said Wednesday, as quoted by tribunnews.com.
Wisnu is currently posted as the general crimes assistant at South Sulawesi Prosecutor's office while Warih is currently posted as special crimes assistant at Bali Prosecutor's office. The other two candidates, submitted earlier, are Ali Mukartono and Jan Maringka.
“There will be no exception for them. They still face obligatory screening,” Johan said.
