Ford sales soar 202 percent in April

US automaker Ford has announced a significant increase in its April vehicle sales this year totaling 1, 415 vehicles, up 202 percent compared to the same period last year, a company executive says.
“This is the best result in sales we could have achieved,” PT Ford Motor Indonesia president director Will Angove said Monday.
He added that the best selling vehicle was the Ford Ranger pick-up truck, of which Ford sold 645, an 82 percent increase from the same period last year. In the second place was the newly launched Ford Fiesta hatchback, which booked 588 sales in April.
